Hubble Space Telescope

Scope: Motion Design / Animated infographics
Project overview: Regarded by many as the most valuable astronomical tool, the Hubble Space Telescope is approaching its 25th anniversary in space. Hubble sees into the far reaches of the Universe but it has also provided a fascinating view of our own dynamic solar system, revealing colliding asteroids, changing aurorae and weather on planets and moons, and even enabling the detection of previously unknown moons. Here is an animated journey explaining the key discoveries of HTS in our solar system that helps better understand its complex data. The discoveries were divided according to each planet. Please note that Hubble cannot observe our Sun, or the closest planet, Mercury, because its instruments are light sensitive and would be damaged. All the information and data has been taken from nasa.gov and hubblesite.org websites.
